Adding Course Prerequisites

Prerequisite courses are those courses that should be taken before this course; however, the system does not prevent individuals from signing up for this course if they have not taken the prerequisites. It is the responsibility of the approving manager or training manager to reject the course during sign up if prerequisites are not met by the person.

  1. In the course tree on the left side of the Course record, click the Prerequisites link.
  2. Click Action > Add.
  3. Zoom from the Course No. field to select the course that will be the prerequisite.
  4. Click the Save button.
    Result: The prerequisite has been added to the Course record.
